F1rstman, birth name Hassan Syed, moved to the Netherlands at the age of three and was raised in a multicultural society with many Caribbean, Surinam, Pakistani, Moroccan & Turkish influences, which will later on influence and enhance his musicality and diversity.

His interest in music began at an early age when he started to experiment with musical instruments, beat boxing and performances in local musicals. Today, F1rstman is one of the leading figures in the Dutch Urban Music Scene and with his aims set on lighting the world ablaze.

“The Bollywood-sound is modernizing, taboos are broken and boundaries are shattered. In my music I combine my traditional roots with a modern, Western sound. Nobody is using Arabic musical scales in his chorusses. This makes it unique and stand out.”
